The world’s first electronic wristwatch re-released in honor of the 50th anniversary

Half a century ago, the American company Hamilton Watch Company introduced the Pulsar model. Unlike any modern electronic watch, Pulsar could not do anything but demonstrate the time. There was no alarm clock, no timer, no stopwatch.

In 1970, they became the first electronic wristwatch in the world. Interestingly, unlike any modern electronic models, Pulsar could do nothing but demonstrate the time. There was no alarm clock, no timer, no stopwatch. The latest version of the great-grandfather of all modern electronic chronometers is called HAMILTON PSR.

Externally, the watch is almost identical to the original model. Unless the display here is already modern – a hybrid based on LCD and OLED technologies. The screen is covered with a protective sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. The watch case is water resistant at 10 bar (100 m). The novelty is estimated at 49,900 rubles. Yes, Apple Watch Series 5 will cost much cheaper!
