“Budget” smartphones in a classic design, but with a modern and powerful filling.
There were already a lot of rumors about the development of the iPhone 9, sometimes called the iPhone SE 2, but information about the possible release of the iPhone 9 Plus appeared for the first time. The mention of this device was noticed in the code of the iOS 14 system, 9to5mac writes.
Apparently, this new product will replace the iPhone 8 Plus model and replenish the number of “budget” Apple smartphones. Like the iPhone 9, the Plus version should get a classic case, a screen with impressive frames and a Touch ID fingerprint scanner on the front panel. It can differ from the “nine” not only with an enlarged display, but also with a dual main camera.
The processor for these smartphones will be the same – A13 Bionic, which is used in the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro. It is also mentioned that the iPhone 9 and iPhone 9 Plus will support Apple Pay and will be able to scan NFC tags in the background, like the iPhone XR, iPhone XS and iPhone 11.
Together with these smartphones, Apple is due to introduce the new iPad Pro tablets. In the iOS 14 code, four modifications were immediately detected, which probably correspond to models with 11 and 12.9 inches screens with Wi-Fi and LTE. The presentation of these and other new products of the company, according to rumors, was scheduled for March 31, but because of the coronavirus pandemic, it was postponed.
