Features of OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro

Back in January, OnePlus confirmed that its next flagship will be equipped with a Quad HD + OLED Fluid Display with a frequency of 120 Hz and a sensor frequency of 240 Hz, 10-bit HDR and a built-in MEMC motion compensation chip. Recently, the company has confirmed 5G support for all OnePlus 8 phones: we are talking about a bunch of Snapdragon 865 and X55 modem. Now there are detailed characteristics of the devices.

Judging by this information, the OnePlus 8 Pro will get a huge 6.78-inch Quad HD + 120 Hz AMOLED display, four rear cameras with two 48-megapixel sensors, one 16-megapixel front camera, a 4510 mAh battery with support for high-speed charging Warp Charge 30T, the first wireless 30 W fast charging (with support for 3-watt reverse charging) and, finally, IP68 protection class for OnePlus 8 Pro. The device will be released in blue, black and green.

The specs of the OnePlus 8 Pro are rumored to be as follows:

6.78-inch AMOLED Quad HD + 120 Hz display with 3D Corning Gorilla Glass protection;
7-nm mobile platform Snapdragon 865 with a frequency of 8 CPU cores up to 2.84 GHz and an Adreno 650 graphics accelerator;
8 GB of RAM LPDDR5 and 256-GB drive UFS 3.0 or 12/256 GB;
Android 10 with OxygenOS 10.0 shell
Dual SIM support (nano + nano);
48-megapixel main camera with a pixel size of 0.8 microns, OIS, EIS; 48-megapixel, 8-megapixel, 5-megapixel camera; LED flash
16-megapixel front camera;
sub-screen fingerprint scanner;
waterproof IP68;
audio – USB Type-C, dual stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos;
5G SA / NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ax, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS (L1 + L5 Dual Band) + GLONASS, USB Type-C;

It is assumed that the younger OnePlus 8 model will receive a 6.55-inch AMOLED Full HD + screen with a frequency of 90 Hz, as well as a 4300 mAh battery with Warp Charge 30T fast charge function, but will not support wireless charging and will not be protected from water and dust like the OnePlus 8 Pro. It will be released in silver, black and green colors.
